About Me
Hello, my name is Alejandro Barrera and I currently finished my Master Degree in Computer Science by the Polytechnic School of Madrid (http://www.fi.upm.es). I have been involved in computer security fields for some years and I was devoted to all kind of research in that field until I discovered the Artificial Intelligence. I've been studying AI subjects since then, with special interest for the conexionist approach. I have always been a great devote of the brain and I have always been obsessed with all kind of machine learning and reasoning. Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) have been of my very interest for some time now and I firmly believe that it is the next AI generation. ANN while finally become the essential framework for the first brain simulations. Neural systems are becoming the fundamental tools for advance AI systems.
Currently I am working on Natural Language Processing and semantic processing of texts. I would like to go in a near future to San Francisco (California). I don't discard making some kind of postgraduate studies over there, but my main interest is to work on some neurocomputing/AI company or startup.
